After scalability issues with our verification servers, we have decided to stress test our other systems and received some not really good news. Our transfer system does not scale well either and we do not want for it to go the way of the verification servers.
The problem is that our transfer system is third-party and we can not just modify it. We did find a better API by a different partner and will be switching to it this weekend. Which brings us to today’s news.
In order to make the transfer as seamless as possible, we decided to pause all the incoming transfers. This way we won’t have anything in the pipeline come Friday and will be able to switch to a different API painlessly.
The transfers will be back online once we have proven that the new system is working. We will notify all our customers via email once we go back online.
